Carboxytherapy
Carboxytherapy is the new, simple and proven technique that can dramatically improve the appearance of cellulite by improving local tissue metabolism and perfusion. Treatments are rapid, comfortable and effective for a high percentage of patients.

Carboxytherapy Treatments

Highly effective, yet non surgical solution
face

Face, neck & décolleté

With carboxytherapy is possible to treat face and décolleté, obtaining a brighter, smoother and tonic skin, with a lifting effect on neck and décolleté (where is possible to treat at the same time the fat deposits, the cause of the dewlap).

Cellulite

After Carboxytherapy, the capillaries are re-opened, the oxygen supply is increased and the metabolism, venous and lymphatic drainage are re-activated in the treated area. After a therapeutic cycle, the aesthetic results are apparent.
stretch

Stretch marks & scars

Recent and post-partum red stretch marks and scars have shown excellent results after a few sessions of Carboxytherapy. Older stretch marks and various scars, even if not completely removed, improve significantly.

How is Carboxytherapy performed?

It is a non surgical method. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is infiltrated into the subcutaneous tissue through a tiny 30G needle (0.3mm in diameter). From the injection point, the carbon dioxide diffuses easily into adjacent tissues.

How does the carbon dioxide work?

Carboxytherapy works in two complimentary ways. Firstly, and quite simply carbon dioxide mechanically kills fat cells.
Secondly, it also has a strong vasodilatory effect (causes dilation of blood vessels) on the capillaries in the area. Wider vessels mean bigger and stronger blood flow to the area, which means more oxygen. The increase in oxygen is important because it eliminates the built up fluid from between the cells. The end result is fewer fat cells and firmer subcutaneous tissue.

Therapeutic indication

  • Aesthetic medicine (cellulite, skin laxity, localized adiposity and body-contouring, anti-ageing of the face, neck, décolleté, upper arm and hands, stretch marks, scars, dewlap)
  • Dermatology (psoriasis)
  • Plastic surgery (pre/post liposuction)
  • Phlebology (venous and lymphatic insufficiency)
  • Angiology (peripheral arteriopathy and microangiopathy, Raynaud syndrome, acrocyanosis)

Cellulite & Body Contouring

Disturbance of the microcirculation, tissue metabolism and the lymphatic drainage can cause the skin condition commonly called cellulite – ‘orange peel’ look, dimpled or bumpy appearance primarily around the thighs and buttock area.

After Carboxytherapy, the capillaries are re-opened, the oxygen supply is increased and the metabolism, venous and lymphatic drainage are re-activated in the treated area.

After a therapeutic cycle, the aesthetic results are apparent.

Skin Laxity

The initial results are visible after only a few sessions – the colour, texture and quality is improved and the tone of the dermis is increased resulting in a firmer, revitalized appearance.

The Carboxytherapy results on the circulatory system are not only functional -with lighter legs after the first session - but also aesthetic.

Stretch marks and scars

Recent and post-partum red stretch marks and scars have shown excellent results after a few sessions of Carboxytherapy.

Older stretch marks and various scars, even if not completely removed, improve significantly.

Face, Neck and Décolleté

With Carboxytherapy it is possible to treat the face, neck and décolleté, obtaining a brighter, smoother and more toned skin, with a wonderful lifting effect. At the same time it is possible to re-contour these areas by treating unwanted fatty deposits in the cheeks, neck and under the chin.
