Here are some of the frequently asked questions (FAQ) on Laser Lipo
What is Laser Lipo and what does it do?
Laser Lipo is the latest non-invasive slimming and body contouring treatment.
This procedure is designed to reduce levels of unwanted fat without surgery.
The laser penetrates through the skin to the 3rde layer (the Hypodermis).
The Laser then distorts the cellular membranes then Glycerol, water and free fatty acids emerge from the cells.
The fat cells reduce in size and the lymphatic system then removes the fatty liquids through the venous system.
The body needs to get the released liquids out through heat or energy in 24 hours (otherwise it will just go back in to the fat cells again).
With one treatment the Laser Lipo machine takes about 300 calories out of your fat cells
How does it work?
The Laser Lipo machine emits low levels of laser energy, which creates a chemical signal in the fat cells, breaking down the stored triglycerides into free fatty acids and glycerol and releasing them though channels in the cell membranes. The fatty acids and glycerol are then transported around the body to the tissues that will use them during metabolism to create energy. This process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when the body needs to used stored energy reserves, thus the Laser Lipo treatment is not creating any unnatural reaction in the body nor does it affect or damage any surrounding structures such as skin, blood vessels and peripheral nerves. A period of exercise post treatment will ensure the complete metabolism and thus elimination from the body of the freed fatty acids.
Independent clinical studies have shown Laser Lipo treatments to be, in some cases, comparable to results achieved by liposuction. Ultrasound imagery shows up to 30% reduction in the fat layer depth after just one treatment. Additional treatments improve results further. Results can be seen immediately after each treatment as the fat cell contents are released. Light exercise post treatment can accelerate the removal of the released fat.
How does the procedure work?
After completing the necessary paperwork your target areas get measured.
Four large Diode laser paddles are placed on the fatty area we want to target
Two smaller Probe Lasers are placed over the Lymphatic glands.
The Laser Lipo machine is turned on for 15 minutes, relocated and turned on for another 15 minutes.
The treated area will then be measured to find out how many centimeters you lost.
You then do 10-minutes on a vibration machine to help the venous system pick up the fatty liquids.
