What is Starchlite?

Starchlite® is an all-natural extract of white kidney bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris) which has properties of decreasing the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates.

Starchlite® decreases the Glycemic index by temporarily inhibiting alpha-amylase, an enzyme present in saliva and also produced by the pancreas. It is responsible for the breakdown of starch into simple sugars that can be absorbed by the organism.

• The glycaemia increase is lowered, the GI of the consumed food decreases.

When to use GI low?
